Starting your Journey

When you begin your journey at Frontier, you will be supported every step of the way by doctors, nurses and team members who care about you as a person, not just as a patient. Our goal is to meet your physical and emotional needs and keep you aware of your treatment and progress so you can make informed decisions. At Frontier, we give you the tools you need to fight this disease while maintaining as normal and active a lifestyle as possible.

Your First Appointment

Your first visit to Frontier allows you to get to know us, and for us in turn to get to know you better. We have worked hard to make your visit as stress-free as possible, and our team will do everything we can to make sure that you are comfortable every step of the way.

As with any visit to a physician, there are certain documents that you will need to bring with you; specifically, your current insurance card(s) and photo identification. Depending on the terms and requirements of your insurance plan, you may also need to plan on bringing any co-payment required.

When you arrive, you will check in with our friendly front desk staff, and may be given additional paperwork to complete. You will also have the opportunity to meet with your financial advocate, the person who will work with your insurance provider(s) to make sure that your needs are met and reduce any stress you may experience having to deal with financial matters relating to your care and treatment.

Finally, you will meet with your physician and the rest of the team you will be working with throughout your cancer journey, including nurses, certified nursing assistants and lab personnel. They are here to give you the support and encouragement you need and give you and your family honest answers to even the toughest questions.
